M Beauty Gallery’s Miok Kim Advances Next-Generation K-Beauty System Using KDA Data Analytics, Featured in Global Major Media

TSN KOREA | Seoul, South Korea — M Beauty Gallery has partnered with ITimes Co., Ltd. to develop a personalized K-beauty care system that combines professional expertise with data analytics.

The two companies recently signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly develop K-beauty content and apply ITimes’ KDA(Korea Data Analysis), platform to aesthetic skin care.

Under the partnership, the system will be used to organize and analyze each client’s skin condition, facial characteristics, care history and changes observed over time. The findings will then inform the client’s next care plan.

The model follows a continuous cycle: assessing a client’s initial condition, designing an individualized program, providing care, reviewing the results and adjusting the program when needed.

The approach is similar to how sports organizations use performance data to design individualized training programs. Rather than applying the same routine to every client, M Beauty Gallery plans to monitor how each person responds and refine its services accordingly.

The company says facial structure, fat distribution, skin condition, aging patterns and daily habits can all influence individual outcomes. Even when the same products or equipment are used, clients may respond differently because their underlying characteristics are not identical.

Miok Kim, director of M Beauty Gallery, has worked in broadcasting, hotel spa & skincare shop management, skin care, makeup and image consulting for about 30 years.

Kim began her broadcasting career in 1993 as an announcer and reporter at Chuncheon MBC. She later managed VIP clients at a hotel spa & skincare shop and served as an examiner for national skin care and makeup certification tests, a judge at international beauty competitions and an instructor in beauty tourism coordination. She founded M Beauty Gallery in 2017.

The partnership is intended to translate Kim’s accumulated field knowledge and observational standards into a more structured, data-supported system.

“Just as every athlete has different physical conditions and responds differently to training, every skin care client requires an approach suited to their individual structure and condition,” Kim said. “By combining our field experience with KDA analytics, we aim to develop a more precise and personalized care system.”

M Beauty Gallery plans to offer the system through a premium, appointment-based service that prioritizes one-on-one consultation and the continuous review of client data.

The company’s broader integrated-care model looks beyond short-term changes in appearance. It examines how improvements in skin and personal image may affect self-perception, confidence and daily habits, which can in turn influence a person’s overall well-being.

M Beauty Gallery’s model has also been featured across a range of international online media platforms, including the press-release section of AP News, Yahoo Finance, Benzinga and websites affiliated with FOX and ABC television stations in the United States.

The collaboration reflects a broader effort to expand K-beauty’s competitive reach beyond cosmetics and beauty devices. M Beauty Gallery and ITimes plan to develop personalized care protocols and digital content based on data accumulated through their work.

“The next stage of K-beauty will not be defined by a single product or device,” Kim said. “Its competitiveness will come from a system that connects observation, analysis, care and reassessment.”
